Drilling Approval and New Geophysical Targets - Mt Carrington Project
New gold-copper and critical mineral targets across 1.2Moz1 Gold-Eq. Project
Drilling to Recommence across the Mt Carrington Project (Drake)
•
Drilling approvals have been received from the NSW Government, with land access in place for up
to nine holes and 4,500m of diamond drilling at the gold and copper Battery Prospect.
•
The new drilling will target untested areas and build on the 3,000+ historical drill holes and over
100,000m of drilling conducted across Mt Carrington Area, which returned intercepts including i:
o
12.82m at 48g/t Au and 2,589g/t Ag from 16m (DDH006 – ALA75);
o
18.9m at 5.8% Cu from 58m and 10.1m at 7.26% Cu from 88m (KYDD001 – ALA75).
o
•
118m at 1.71g/t Au, 6.9g/t Ag, and 1.12% Zn from 2m (KYDD003 – ALA75); and
This forms part of the first phase plans to drill test the Battery, Mascotte, and Emu Prospects over
the coming months, and staged drilling at Red Rock, Kylo, Strass, and White Rock pending cultural
heritage clearances.
Geophysical Review Completed
• A detailed Airborne MT data review is complete, and compelling targets have been identified.
•
Review was completed by an expert closely familiar with the MT survey data used by K92 Mining
Inc on the world-class Kainantu Mineiv.
•
Reprocessing of historical geophysics highlights a significant opportunity for near-mine discoveries
with chargeability features extending to depth below known mineralisation and existing resources
remain untested and present compelling target opportunities.
Strong Cash Position to Advance Project $7.75M equity raising completed ii.

Legacy Minerals Holdings Limited (ASX: LGM, “LGM”, “the Company” or “Legacy Minerals”) is pleased to
report an drilling approval and new geopjysical targets for the Mt Carrington (Drake) Epithermal Gold-Silver
Project in NSW (EL6273, EL9616, EL9727, ALA75).
Management Comment Legacy Minerals CEO & Managing Director, Christopher Byrne said:
“We are pleased to announce the commencement of the next phase of exploration at the Mt
Carrington Project, near Drake, with several significant milestones being achieved. This work further
highlights the prospectivity of the Project, demonstrated through the 1.2 million ounces of goldequivalent resources on the Project, of which almost half of the resource is critical minerals, and the
3,000-plus mine workings across the Project Area. This significant historical production makes it one
of the longest-lived mining districts in Australia, with production spanning from 1858 to the closure of
the last operational mine in 1993.
We have received our first drilling approvals from the NSW Government, which will test the new
geophysics targets at the gold and copper Battery Prospect. This drilling will build on the extensive
historical data collected by previous companies, including over 100,000m of drilling and 4,000 drill
holes across the wider Mt Carrington Project. Previous drilling has delivered spectacular intercepts,
including 12.82m at 48g/t Au and 2,589g/t Ag from 16m and 18.9m at 5.8% Cu from 58m and 10.1m
at 7.26% Cu from 88m. Coupled with the new data and interpretation completed by geophysical
experts who have worked on world-class deposits such as the 18Moz AuEq Kainantu Mine in PNG iii,
these historical high-grade results give confidence to the targets and discovery potential of the project.
2F
Our ongoing exploration programs are well-funded following a successful $7.75 million capital raise.
This raising received exceptionally strong support from investors, reflecting the very strong quality of
the Company’s asset portfolio and exploration programs.”
Geophysics Reprocessing and Expert Review
Advanced Airborne MT
For the first time in over 30 years, airborne geophysics was flown over the entire 298km2. Legacy
Minerals engaged Expert Geophysics Limited (EGL) to conduct the Airborne MT electromagnetic and
magnetic survey by helicopter utilising their proprietary MobileMT system. MobileMT is the latest
generation of airborne AFMAG technologies, designed in 2017 by the inventor of the Z-Axis Tipper
Electromagnetic (ZTEM) system. Electromagnetic and magnetic data were collected along east-west
survey lines, nominally spaced at 200m, and north-south tie lines nominally spaced at 2,000 m for a
total of 1,642 line-kms.
Aimex Geophysics Pty Ltd (Aimex) was engaged to help interpret the new survey data. The consultant
has a strong history of interpreting this type of survey data, including having previously worked
intimately with the K92 and Tolu exploration teams to great success in Papua New Guinea (PNG) iv.

Consultant Interpretation Target Overview
Mt Carrington Porphyry Halo: A 10km strike length conductivity, part of a major deep-set structure
that continues a further 10km north. Closer to surface (300m depth), this anomaly is interpreted to
be the eastern alteration segment of the Mt Carrington porphyry core. The Mt Carrington drillholes
and Resource occurs within the northern segment of the anomaly. Near surface conductivity
anomalies east of the Mt Carrington drillholes and alteration zone represent new areas of interest for
further assessment and drill testing.

Emu Creek Intrusive Complex (DRK02): The DRK02 Emu Creek Resistivity core is defined by a (Very
Low Frequency Electromagnetic) VLF conductivity anomaly of 2.5km diameter with a high conductivity
halo. There is an outer Western alteration halo defined by a magnetic intrusive and further to its south,
a magnetic low. The eastern Emu halo is defined by higher conductivities interpreted to be related to
alteration.
Battery Creek (DRK05): This target area occurs as a distinct magnetic intrusive interpreted associated
with the interpreted Lunatic Field Porphyry high resistivity core. This target is defined by a 3.4km
diameter volcanic centre and is also a potential breccia pipe with a nearer surface conductive blanket.

Historical Geophysics Reprocessed
The 2015 MIMDAS 100m pole-dipole survey over Mt Carrington has been reprocessed and modelled
in 3D along with the previous 50m pole-dipole data by Mitre Geophysics Pty Ltd. The modelling shows
that the distribution of chargeability is probably more complex than previously thought, and certainly
more complex than can be captured in historically produced 2D models.
Generating a 3D merged model of the existing IP over Mt Carrington has shown that most of the
known ore zones are associated with clear chargeability and low resistivity responses and many of
these remain untested. Drilling around the MIMDAS IP lines appears to not have tested the main
chargeability highs possibly because due to the responses being more complex than the 2D models
could capture.
Comparing the chargeability with the drilling, it appears most of the known ore appears to be within
or nearby to highly chargeability areas. This is an encouraging observation as there are many large,
strong chargeability anomalies that have not been tested. The Lady Hampden deposit on the northern
end of the Silver King silver mineralisation trend an exception as it does not have a chargeability
response however it does have a low resistivity and MT response, possibly due to the massive
sulphides.

A number of holes were targeted on 2D MIMDAS chargeability models. Modelling in 3D shows that
the deepest hole, WCDD003, appears to have only glanced the edge of the deep chargeability high in
the western end of the survey area. The strongest chargeability and lowest resistivity are to the north,
and essentially remain untested.

Target Development - Battery Creek
Historical reports from CRA Exploration (CRAE) in 1992 highlighted an area of anomalous quartz and
limonite staining identified through geological mapping and reconnaissance soil sampling. It was
initially thought the anomalism was contained within an immature conglomerate unit and its contact
with neighbouring siltstone and porphyritic andesite. However, two CRA reconnaissance holes
identified that the previously interpreted conglomerate unit was instead a mafic intrusive breccia that
contained intensely stockwork quartz veined and altered volcanic clasts consistent with epithermalporphyry style veining. Further drilling was proposed to test the breccia and breccia contacts however
was never completed and the case for testing is now further supported with the return of airborne
MT survey results highlighting an underlying elevated conductivity zone. Approved drilling will aim to
test the zones proximal to the breccia contact and within the host volcanic sequence.

Future Work
Figure 12. Mt Carrington Project showing deposits and major prospects.
The Company is currently completing surface geochemical campaigns at Mt Carrington in follow up to
the recently delivered Airborne MT data review. Results are expected within the 6 weeks.
The exploration approach has three clear strategic goals:
1. Resource extension assessment: Test the brownfield targets at depth and along strike of highgrade gold, silver, and copper zones that target substantial Resource growth.
2. Discovery drilling – drilling to explore new greenfield epithermal-porphyry discoveries within
the Drake Caldera including Battery, Emu and Mascotte.
3. Increase resource confidence by confirming historical drill results within existing Inferred
Resources.

Geological Overview
The Mt Carrington Project sits within the highly prospective New England Fold Belt (NEFB), one of a
number of epithermal gold, silver and base metal districts that formed along the east coast of Australia
during the Permian age as back arc extensional volcanic basins. A number of major mines and deposits
occur within the NEFB, including the Hillgrove Mine (1.7Moz AuEq @ 7.4g/t AuEq vi), Cracow gold mine
(2.5Moz Au @ 4.97g/t) vii, Mt Carlton gold mine (1.2Moz Au, 12Moz Ag) viii, Mt Rawdon gold mine
(2.5Moz Au ix), and Mt Morgan (8Moz Au x).

The Mt Carrington epithermal deposits are hosted by the Drake Volcanics, a NW-trending 60km x
10km Permian bimodal volcano-sedimentary sequence within the Wandsworth Volcanic Group near
the north-eastern margins of the Southern New England Fold Belt. The Drake Volcanic sequence and
associated intrusions are interpreted to be the source to the epithermal Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn
mineralisation developed Kylo and Strauss. The majority of the Drake Volcanics and associated
mineralisation are centred within a large-scale circular caldera with a low magnetic signature which is
20km diameter.
Previous exploration is limited to regional geophysics and surface geochemical sampling including
stream sediment sampling, rock chip sampling, soil sampling and drill testing. The Project is centred
on a poorly understood but regionally important, low-sulphidation, epithermal, gold, silver, zinc and
copper mineralised system.
The Porgera Goldfield and Kainantu deposit provide a good analogy for potential mineralisation and
it’s setting to Mt Carrington in that gold-silver associated with galena-sphalerite forms marginal to
felsic-intermediate domes and potentially mineralised porphyry’s within a caldera setting. Many
recent discoveries feature settings where veins occur only in competent host rocks, which have
fractured well but are obscured by overlying incompetent host rocks (El Penon, Chile; Palmarejo,
Mexico; Hishikari, Japan).
About the Mt Carrington Project
The Mt Carrington Project contains three granted exploration licenses covering 390km2 and an
Assessment Lease Application (ALA75) covering 0.46km2 over part of the Mt Carrington Area. An
assessment lease authority exists as a ‘bridge’ between exploration and mining, where progression to
mining status is reasonably foreseeable. The Project encompasses substantial infrastructure on the
granted exploration licenses, including a tailings dam, grid easements, a 550ML water source, a site
office, accommodation, a core shed, and core processing facilities. This Study covers resources and
infrastructure contained across ALA75 and Exploration License EL6273.
The Project has combined resources of 34Mt containing 1.2Moz of contained AuEq metal. Gold and
silver are the dominant contained metals in the Resource (653koz Au, 24.3Moz Ag), with significant
zinc content (147kt Zn) and lesser amounts of copper (20kt Cu) and lead (33kt Pb).
A 2025 Scoping Study evaluated the potential development of 209.5koz at the Mt Carrington Group xi. The
Scoping Study demonstrated the potential for the Project to produce ~31,400oz of gold per annum
for a total of ~172,600 ounces of gold, at an "all-in sustaining cost" ("AISC") of ~A$1,726/oz over an initial
five-and-a-half-year production period generate strong free cashflows averaging ~A$52.8 million pre-tax
per annum during its first five years of operation, an IRR of 112% and a robust NPV of ~A$290.4 million.

Sampling
techniques
Nature and quality of sampling (e.g.
cut channels, random chips, or
specific specialised industry standard
measurement tools appropriate to
the minerals under investigation,
such as down hole gamma sondes,
or handheld XRF instruments, etc.).
These examples should not be taken
as limiting the broad meaning of
sampling.
Include reference to measures taken
to ensure sample representivity and
the appropriate calibration of any
measurement tools or systems used.
Aspects of the determination of
mineralisation that are Material to
the Public Report.
In cases where ‘industry standard’
work has been done this would be
relatively simple (e.g. ‘reverse
circulation drilling was used to
obtain 1 m samples from which 3 kg
was pulverised to produce a 30 g
charge for fire assay’). In other
cases, more explanation may be
required, such as where there is
coarse gold that has inherent
sampling problems. Unusual
commodities or mineralisation types
(eg submarine nodules) may warrant
disclosure of detailed information.
Drilling
The deposits have been drilled and sampled by diamond coring,
reverse circulation drilling and open hole percussion drilling.
• Recent diamond drilling by White Rock Minerals and Rex
Minerals was completed at Strauss, Guy Bell, Lady Hampden
and Silver King deposits.
• Historic diamond drilling, reverse circulation drilling and
percussion drilling was conducted by Aberfoyle Ltd, Mt
Carrington Mines Ltd, CRA Exploration Pty Ltd and Drake
Resources Ltd between 1980 and 2005 at Kylo, Strauss, Guy Bell,
Lady Hampden and Silver King deposits.
• Exploration drilling and sampling data was stored in an external
SQL database managed by IO Digital. The database utilised
industry standard data validation routines.
Sampling
• Sampling of the deposits has consisted of diamond drilling
(mainly HQ and NQ with minor PQ), Sampling was undertaken
at 1m intervals unless defined otherwise by geological
characteristics.
• Reverse circulation drilling used face sampling hammers ranging
in size from 5 ¼” to 10 ½ “and open hole percussion drilling. RC
drill sampling is undertaken at 1m intervals.
• Percussion holes have been routinely sampled at either 2.0 m or
3.0 m intervals.
• Samples from diamond core were collected at intervals from 0.1
to 1.5 m with boundaries adjusted to changes in alteration,
mineralisation or lithology.
• Core samples were consistently selected from one side
throughout the various drilling programs.
• Core was split in half (or ¼ core PQ) by automated core saw to
obtain a 3-4.5kg sample for external laboratory preparation and
analysis with the oriented portion retained for future reference
and testing.
• Quarter coring is not performed for duplicate samples in order
to maintain integrity of the primary sample, with a laboratoryprepared crushed duplicate of the half core preferred.
• Historic sample preparation records were incomplete. Existing
records showed that dry samples were split using a riffle or face

splitter to obtain two 1-2 kg samples. Wet samples were mixed
and sampled by hand or split by rotary disc cutter, collected in a
bucket, flocculated, filtered, and dried to a 3-5 kg subsample,
which was then riffle split to obtain two 1-2 kg samples. Initial
samples submitted to the laboratory were typically composited
over 3m with 1m splits submitted in areas of interest.
